Founder’s Memorial - The best way to gain the sense of history of the UAE is to visit the Founder’s Memorial in Ras Al Akhdar. The Memorial is a permanent national honor to celebrating life, heritage and values of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE. A public work of art called Constellation is a dynamic tridimensional portrait of late Sheikh Zayed that may be perceived differently, depending on the point of view around the monument.
Visit the Emirates Palace close by, and experience the luxury of the UEA with famous cappuccino with 24k gold flakes. If you have time, head to the top of the Etihad Towers, and experience the bird’s eye view of the city.
The founder's memorial is free to the public and is open daily from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m.
